Who operates the plugin
The publisher is Ioannis Goulias, operating EarlyBird. Contact info@earlybird.live about this notice or your data. This notice describes the connector; third-party services, including ChatGPT, Firebase authentication, and Upwork, also have their own notices.
Data processed
- Your Firebase account identifier and authenticated session information, including ID and refresh tokens used to access your EarlyBird account.
- OAuth client registration details, consented permissions, hashed authorization codes, hashed access and refresh tokens, and timestamps.
- Your saved skill tags, minimum budgets, project types, email-alert setting, and the job matches requested by you.
- Tool arguments and technical request information needed to process requests and diagnose failures. Hosting infrastructure may record request metadata such as IP address, time, status and URL.
The tools do not ask for your full conversation history, Upwork password, payment card information, or API keys. Password sign-in is handled by Firebase. Job data returned to ChatGPT may contain information provided in the original job listing.
Why data is used
Account identifiers and session information authenticate your connection. Preferences and job data provide the functionality you request. Write permission allows the plugin to save changes to your EarlyBird alert criteria. Technical data supports reliability and security. These activities support provision of the requested service and the legitimate interest in protecting it; optional access is controlled through your connection and permissions.
Recipients and hosting
Google Cloud and Firebase provide hosting, authentication and storage. Your selected OpenAI service receives tool results so it can respond to you. The connector calls the existing EarlyBird backend using your Firebase session. It does not send your conversation history to employers or submit applications. Existing alert delivery through email, Telegram or Slack remains governed by your EarlyBird settings; this plugin can change your email-alert preference.
The configured MCP service runs in Google Cloud's us-central1 region in the United States. Processing by service providers may occur outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. The providers' applicable data-processing terms govern their services. This notice does not claim that all processing stays within the EU.
Retention and expiry
Authorization codes are usable for approximately five minutes, MCP access tokens for approximately one hour, and MCP refresh tokens for at most thirty days. Consent-screen tickets expire after fifteen minutes. Token expiry is enforced by the server but is not the same as deleting database records.
Saved preferences remain part of your EarlyBird account. Firebase session bindings and expired OAuth records remain stored until removed through maintenance or a verified deletion request; the current connector does not automatically erase them when you disconnect in ChatGPT. Hosting logs and backups follow the configured provider retention settings. Contact us for the retention details relevant to an account or to request removal of connector records that are no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You can choose whether to connect, decline permissions, disconnect through ChatGPT, and change your alert preferences. To request server-side revocation, access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or to object to processing where applicable, contact info@earlybird.live. We may verify your identity before acting. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to your data-protection authority, including the Hellenic Data Protection Authority where applicable.
Disconnecting alone does not delete your EarlyBird account or copies of results already held by OpenAI. Manage those copies using the controls of the service that holds them. EarlyBird does not make hiring decisions about you; you decide whether and where to apply.
